「お地蔵さまも、年に一度の煤払い」

またまた昨日のウォーキングの途中、こんな不思議な光景を発見！

お地蔵様の両脇に置かれたプランターから、フラワーアーチが弧を描き、蔓科の植物でも伸びているかと思いきや、何が何が！

よくよく見て見ると、お地蔵様の色とりどりの涎掛けが奇麗に洗濯され、フラワーアーチを物干し代わりに干してあるじゃないですか！

なるほど、お地蔵さまも年に一度の煤払いで、涎掛けまでも奇麗にしていただいて、新しい年を迎えられるのだと、とってもホッコリとした気分に浸れました。

  2. この世知辛い世の中に、ホッとするような風景ですね〜っ。時々、涎掛けをお着替えしていらっしゃるのでしょうね。
    どえらい昔に、リカちゃん人形の服を手洗いして干したことまで、思い出しました。
    フラワーアーチの活用法、GOOD！だす。

    1. お寺の山門の前にお地蔵さまは佇んでおられましたので、お寺のおっさまか、お庫裏さん、或いは小僧さんが、お地蔵様の涎掛けを洗濯なさったように思います。

        優しい、お心遣いに本当にホッコリです。

        ところで、オカダさんは１日に何キロぐらい歩いていらっしゃるのですか？
        スマートなスタイルの秘訣は、やっぱウォーキングでしょうか？

        1. それほどスマートではありませんが（汗）
          ぼくは毎日最低7kmほど、1時間半ほどかけてウォーキングしています。
          10ほど前は、そんなウォーキングの後、近くのスポーツクラブのプールで、毎朝1km泳いでいた頃もありましたが、今の住まいの側にはプールもありませんし。いやいや、もっとも10年近く加齢してしまっていますから、そこまでの体力は無いかもしれません(笑)

          2. 一気に距離を伸ばすよりも、少しずつ始めて、ウォーキングに出掛けるのが待ち遠しいくらいになってから、これまた少しずつ距離を負担の無いように伸ばされてもいいのでは?
            いずれにせよ、義務感とか感じてしまうと、嫌気がさしてしまいますから!

    毎日のウォーキングでの風景は
    とても楽しみで、へ～っ❗と思う事ばかりです。
    ワクワクしてのウォーキングなはず。
    クリスマス仕様の植え込み、
    綺麗に洗われた数々のお地蔵さまの
    涎掛け、やぎの散歩とか
    読むたび楽しくなります。
    虫はちょっとドキドキですが(笑)
    今年もあと１日になりますね。
    なんとか家族揃って新年迎えられる
    我が家。それだけで感謝です☺
    おかださんも、またこれまで以上に
    来年も飛躍されてね❗

  5. 笑ってはいけないんでしょうけど　見た瞬間笑ってしまいました。
    お地蔵様の頭上や周りの様子に　お地蔵様も苦笑してそう　( ◠‿◠ )
    きれいな涎掛けを着けて　新しい年も見守って下さるといいなぁ〜
    ps. 今回もお地蔵様や涎掛けなどについて勉強させてもらいました。ありがたや(笑)

    1. 以前、下呂の舞台峠にある地歌舞伎小屋にロケで出掛けた時、道路脇に7～8尊の大小様々なお地蔵さまが祀られていて、集落の奥様方が数名で涎掛けを取り換えておられたものです。
      お地蔵さまにも古い物から、比較的新しいまだ若いお地蔵さまもおいででしたが、集落のご婦人方が手厚く面倒を見ておられました。

        慈悲深く見守って下さるお地蔵さまに手を合わせるだけでも　心が安らぐから不思議ですね。

        1. ぼくなんて、JRの車内吊ポスターで、「そうだ！京都行こう」のあれを見て、三千院のわらべ地蔵様を癒されに見に行ったことがありました！

  7. 実家近くの交差点にお地蔵さまがあり 幼い頃 母親に どうしてここに有るのか聞いた事があり 戦後直ぐに 女の子が馬車にひかれたからだよ！と 話してくれました (・・;)
    そのお地蔵さまの涎掛けは着物の布でした。
    私が中学生の時 近所のおばさんが交換していたので 私も作ってみたいと話し、自分が幼少の頃に着ていた着物で作り お地蔵さまに着けて貰った事もありました。

    あのお地蔵さま 今はどんな涎掛けをしているのか 気になってしまったので、近いうちに 見に行ってみよー っと(#^.^#)
